4:56am...Justice Mstrkrft Remix.
So, I have recently rekindled my love for electronic music =] and its all thanks to my extremely abnoxious neighbour, who plays house music all day with his bass turned up really high. How you may ask? Well...one day I was trying to sleep in and all I could hear was my walls vibrating from my neighbours music and at first I was extremely annoyed but after awhile I realized that the bass pattern sounded extremely familiar. So, I went to my computer and found that David Guetta song "Sexy Bitch" and blah blah long story short ended up listening to some good house music on my itunes and ta-dah Justice.
Extremely short Justice summary: a French electronic music duo consisting of Gaspard Auge and Xavier de Rosnay.
Anywho...you know how when someone tells you not to do something, you want to do it even more?(even if that person telling you not to do it, is actually you) Well, recently my girlfriend and I decided that we would not go shopping for exactly three months. Now, this may not sound very difficult for some, but living in downtown Vancouver and going past shops every time we go out to eat or grocery shop makes it VERY VERY hard to resist. Also, having a huge list of things I would like to buy also makes it very difficult. hehe. However, the point is to save a bit of money and not spend it on things that aren't very necessary....soo...I guess it'll be worth it in the end...even though I may splurge at the end of the challenge haha
Which brings me to my ...
WILL BUY LIST: hurrah
+ a navy or black slim fitting blazer
+ Dior Homme jeans
+ a leather bag of some sort
+ jacket
+ speakers for turntable
I also tried to make a little budget sheet, which is suprisingly well done...haha..
It made it realize how much money was being spent on bills, groceries, gas, etc, so I've decided to make an effort to reduce the amount I'm spending on these things even if its by just a little...because every little bit helps right:)
On a more somber note..
Lately, I've been feeling a little stressed (school, life, future, etc)
So, as weird as this may sound...some times when I have a lot of thoughts in my head I go visit my grandfather's grave and even just talking, I guess to him? which is sort of to myself as well I guess..., helps me put a lot of things in perspective. My grandfather was someone who I really looked up to growing up and I guess, while I occasionally dismiss my own spirituality, theres a side of me that still believes in the idea that he's looking out for me somewhere up in the sky. hehe.
anyways..its pretty late....so time for bed yo.
Adios
Benni
